What is stored
NearlyIn stores as little as it can. This is what exactly, and for how long.
In detail
- Per entry: email address, product, the times of sign-up, confirmation and invitation, plus the hashes of the codes from the mail links.
- No IP addresses in the database, no tracking, no third-party scripts, no images in mails.
- Secret keys and the codes of real entries only as hashes. Mails of test mode are kept with their links for 7 days.
- The body of a webhook is deleted as soon as it was delivered or given up. The delivery log contains no addresses.
- Where sign-ups came from (utm_source or the site before) is only counted per product and day. The entry does not record it.
- Unsubscribing deletes the entry completely.
Where
Servers and database are in Frankfurt am Main. Who processes which data on our behalf is listed in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
