Guide for Carrd

Add a waitlist to Carrd.

You paste one script into your Carrd page and a sign-up form appears there. takes care of confirmation mails, places in line and invitations.

Create a waitlist

Step by step

  1. Sign in to and add your product. All you need is your email address.
  2. On your product's page, copy the line in the “Script” tab under “Add it to your project”.
  3. In Carrd, add an Embed element where the form should go, choose “Code” as its type and paste the line into it.
  4. Publish the page and sign up yourself. In test mode you'll find the confirmation mail in the dashboard under “Test mails”.
  5. When everything works, use the script with the live key.

This is what the line looks like. In the dashboard you get it with your own key. Sign in and get the script

Good to know

  • loads the form, so you don't have to allow any domain.
  • If the form is cut off, give the embed element more height.
  • Referral links lead to your page. The script picks up the code in the address and counts the referral.
  • You set the form's colour, logo and texts in the dashboard, not in Carrd.
