Entries and places

Every address on your waitlist is an entry. It goes through four states, from signing up to getting in.

The four states

  1. pendingSigned up, the address is not confirmed yet. The mail with the confirmation link is on its way.
  2. confirmedConfirmed. The entry stands in line and has a referral link.
  3. invitedInvited. The mail with the personal code has been sent.
  4. redeemedIn. Your app has redeemed the code.

The place in line

The line orders confirmed entries by the time they confirmed. Whoever confirmed earlier stands further ahead.

Every confirmed referral counts as if the entry had confirmed as many places earlier as you set per referral (default: 5). Places you give by hand in the dashboard or through the API count the same way.

Everyone sees their place on their status page. If you don't want that, switch on “Do not show places in line” in the product.

What happens on its own

  • Entries not confirmed within 14 days are deleted.
  • An address that signs up twice stays one entry. A new confirmation mail goes out at most every 10 minutes.
  • Whoever unsubscribes through the link in a mail is deleted at once and completely.
  • If a mail bounces for good, the address gets no more mail.

In the dashboard

The list of entries can be searched, filtered by state and exported as CSV. You import an existing list as CSV without anyone getting a mail. Sources and activity of the last 30 days are above the list.
